Scarlett Johansson, who started her career at the very young age of 10, has successfully become the world’s highest-paid actress since 2018, and the third-highest-grossing box office star of all time. Her career has not been easy, with many ups and downs, and numerous career transformations. Here are some fascinating things to know about the actress:

  1. The lead character of Sondra Pransky in the Woody Allen’s movie “Scoop” was tailored specifically to Scarlett Johansson, since the director felt that she had an unused “funny” quality about her.
  2. Although the 1998 movie “The Horse Whisperer” was her seventh, she received an ‘introducing’ credit in this movie.
  3. During the production of the movie “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” she reportedly fell in love with a cat, out of all the animals used for filming, and she even named it Merkin. The production crew made all the arrangements for her adopt the cat and even went to great lengths to have it transported from Luxembourg to New York city.
