- The lead character of Sondra Pransky in the Woody Allen’s movie “Scoop” was tailored specifically to Scarlett Johansson, since the director felt that she had an unused “funny” quality about her.
- Although the 1998 movie “The Horse Whisperer” was her seventh, she received an ‘introducing’ credit in this movie.
- During the production of the movie “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” she reportedly fell in love with a cat, out of all the animals used for filming, and she even named it Merkin.
