- He was born Adam Douglas Driver on November 19, 1983, in San Diego, California, United States, to Joe Douglas Driver, a preacher and Nancy Wright, a paralegal. After his parents separated his mother married Rodney G. Wright.
- At the age of seven, along with his older sister and mother, he relocated to the city of Mishawaka, Indiana, where he attended Mishawaka High School and graduated in 2001.
